1. Who we are
Blue Note Construction ("we", "us", "our") operates bluenote-elite.com (the "Site"). For the purposes of EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") we are the data controller of personal data collected through the Site. 2. What we collect
We collect the personal data you provide directly (for example through the contact form), data we receive automatically when you use the Site (technical and usage data), and data from cookies or similar technologies you have consented to.
- Identification & contact data — name, email address, phone number, language preference. Provided by you via the contact form, WeChat handle, or direct correspondence.
- Inquiry content — the message and apartment/service interest you submit.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent. Collected automatically.
- Cookie data — only with your consent; details in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we process data and our legal basis
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies.
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to respond to your inquiry and provide property advisory services.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — accounting, tax, anti-money-laundering and KYC requirements.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to operate, secure and improve the Site, prevent fraud, and conduct business correspondence with prospective and existing clients, balanced against your rights.
4. Who we share data with
Your data may be shared with: our affiliated entities, regulated professional advisers (legal, accounting, tax), service providers acting as data processors (hosting, email, CRM, analytics) under written contracts that respect GDPR, and Greek public authorities where required by law. We do not sell your data.
5. International transfers
We may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, for example to our Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou or Prague offices, or to service providers based abroad. Where the recipient country does not have an EU adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other GDPR-approved safeguards. A copy is available on request.
6. How long we keep data
Inquiry data is retained for up to 36 months from your last interaction unless a longer period is required by tax or contractual obligations. Technical and analytics data is retained according to industry-standard rolling periods (typically 14–26 months). You may request earlier deletion subject to legal hold requirements.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, object to processing on legitimate-interest grounds, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or your local supervisory authority. 8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site, and where required by law we will obtain your renewed consent.
